Doctor Who Drinks

For my birthday, my husband threw me a Doctor Who party. He even created an incredible bar with themed drinks. As requested by a few people, here are the recipes.

10th Doctor’s Sonic Screwdriver

2 parts rum or vodka

1 part blue curacao

11th Doctor’s Sonic Screwdriver

1 part vodka

1 part orange juice

splash of blue curacao

Captain Jack

1 part Captain Morgan

1 part Jack Daniels

Pour over ice and fill glass with cola

(really just a sex on the beach with a better name)

My favorite:

Cool Gin Fez

Pour a shot of Chambord into a shot glass. Place the cup upside down over the shot glass so the edge is sealed, then flip it over. Now pour a shot of gin into the cup and top with lemon-flavored seltzer. It looks like a fez submerged in a gin fizz. Then pull the shot glass out and the drink is mixed before your eyes!
